Cuyahoga County Fair

Feeling sheepish?  Well, you'll be in good company, but bear in mind, if you wear a wool sweater, you may be judged.  While their fleece may not be "white as snow," watching these ornery little lambs is shear fun.  Just don't ask what they think of Christmas.

Step right up to the Cuyahoga County Fair's newest magic show, where nothing is quite what it seems. This 30-minute show blends sharp mentalism, sleight-of-hand, and classic stage magic into a fast-paced, family-friendly spectacle -- and you might just end up part of the act. From reading minds to making the impossible happen right in front of your eyes, every trick is designed to leave you second-guessing what you just saw.

Grab a seat at Old Barn Pavilion and get ready to be amazed. Whether you're a skeptic or a true believer, one thing's for sure: you won't want to miss this one!

They aren't booing, they're saying "Moo!"  Come watch these hefty heifers strut their stuff.  Those who don't win, place or show will definitely have a beef with the judges, but that's to be expected.

Weighing in at roughly 2,000 lbs, draft horses are the gentle giants of the equine world.  And talk about horsepower!  Capable of pulling 2-3 times their own weight, draft horses are renowned for their incredible strength.  Breeds include Belgians, Clydesdales, Percherons, Shires, and Suffolks, with the largest among them being the Belgians, which can stand up to 6'8" tall at the withers, though the average height among draft horses is around 5'4".  Their partnership with humans has been instrumental in fields as wide ranging as agriculture and urban construction.  They've hauled our wagons, plows, felled trees, building materials, artillery and heavy freight... and all for a few buckets of oats and bales of hay.
