"Headlines In History"
Sponsored by National City Bank

For the first time in Ohio, an exhibit of HEADLINES IN HISTORY will be on display at the 108th Cuyahoga County Fair. Sponsored by National City and featuring over 125 original front pages from more than 50 newspapers from over 20 states, the headlines cover stories from the death of Queen Victoria in 1901 to Plain Dealer headlines for each day of the Fair. This is a private collection owned by Greg Parkinson. Additional headlines include the sinking of the Titanic, Pearl Harbor, the moon landing and people like Lindbergh, Franklin Roosevelt; Churchill, Nixon, Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. This walk through history will also feature voices of famous people and narrations of historic events. This featured exhibit is FREE with General Admission purchase and covers 5,000 square feet of space in the Home and Hobby Building. Families and History Buffs alike will find HEADLINES IN HISTORY fascinating and well worth a visit.
